Spring is finally here, and WRTD is excited to have a proposal for route and schedule changes ready for public review.  Please see below for more details about what is proposed and how to provide input.  Thanks!

Schedule and Route Change Proposal 2019
Today WRTD is releasing a proposal for route and schedule changes.  The proposal covers three of the four fixed routes.  No additional funds are available to expand the service hours or change the area covered by the routes.

The public comment period is open until May 23rd.  Two public hearings are scheduled for May 20th.

Please review the proposal and let us know what you think!

Does your agency buy tickets for clients?
If yes, please contact WRTD for information about how to purchase the new passes and tickets, and for information about how to trade in old supplies.  We don't have up to date contact lists for all the agencies and organizations who have purchased passes or booklets from us in the past.  Email info@wrtd.org if you could be a contact for your organization/ agency (we can have more than one contact!).  Thanks!
Change to Mansfield Senior Center stop starting May 6th

WRTD recently acquired several longer buses for their fixed routes. Unfortunately these buses cannot safely serve the existing bus stop location at the Mansfield Senior Center.

The following changes will go into effect on Monday, May 6, 2019:
- New stop location – Maple Road next to crosswalk and Wright’s Way intersection (Permanent change)
- New stop order – The bus will now stop at the Senior Center BEFORE going to Juniper Hill. It will not stop when travelling back (Permanent Change)
- Additional stops – Juniper Hill will be served every time Mansfield Senior Center is served (so the bus can safely turn around) (Temporary Change)
